Car
If you are driving from Punakha Valley, head towards the Punakha Dzong and continue on the main road towards Wangdue Phodrang. After about 10 minutes of driving, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the left fork towards Sangaygang. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach a small parking area at the base of the viewpoint. From the parking area, it is a short uphill walk (approximately 10-15 minutes) to reach the Sangaygang View Point.

To reach Sangaygang View Point using public transportation, you can take a local bus or shared taxi from the main bus station in Punakha. Look for a bus heading towards Wangdue Phodrang and ask the driver to drop you off at the Sangaygang turn-off. The fare should be around 50-100 Ngultrum. After getting off, you will need to walk about 5 kilometers along the left fork road towards Sangaygang. It is advisable to arrange for a return taxi from the viewpoint to avoid waiting for public transport on your return.
