Begin your journey at the Punakha Dzong, a major landmark in the town. From the Dzong, head southeast towards the main road (Punakha-Wangdue Highway). Once you reach the highway, turn left and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. As you walk, you will pass several local shops and eateries. Continue walking until you reach the junction with signs pointing towards Wangdue Phodrang. Follow the signs and continue straight for another 2 kilometers, which will lead you to the Babesa-Thimphu Expressway. The Royal Botanical Garden Serbithang will be located just off this expressway on your left side.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Punakha. Start at the Punakha Dzong and cycle southeast towards the main road (Punakha-Wangdue Highway). Once you reach the highway, turn left and pedal for approximately 1.5 kilometers. After passing a few shops, look for the junction with signs leading towards Wangdue Phodrang. Follow the signs and keep cycling straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Babesa-Thimphu Expressway. The Royal Botanical Garden Serbithang will be located just off this expressway on your left.
Public Transport
