Getting There

Car
From Samdrup Jongkhar, head east on the main road (National Highway 8) towards Trashigang. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will reach the junction at Trashigang. Take the road towards Merak Village, which is well marked. The road will lead you through beautiful landscapes. Continue for about 25 kilometers until you reach Merak Village. Be prepared for some rough stretches as the road can be narrow and winding in places.
