Car
If you're driving from Sarpang town, take the Sarpang-Punakha Highway (NH-2) heading towards Punakha. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers until you reach the junction at Phobjikha. Turn left onto the Phobjikha road. Follow this road for approximately 15 kilometers, keeping an eye out for the signs leading to Tsigo. The last stretch will take you through picturesque valleys. Look for the GPS coordinates C6X4+395 on your navigation device to arrive directly at Tsigo.
Public Transportation
To reach Tsigo via public transportation, first take a local bus or shared taxi from Sarpang town to Wangdue Phodrang. These typically leave from the main bus terminal in Sarpang and cost around 100 Ngultrum. Once in Wangdue Phodrang, look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Phobjikha. The fare for this leg of the journey is approximately 150 Ngultrum. Upon reaching Phobjikha, you may need to hire a local taxi or use a motorcycle taxi to cover the final distance to Tsigo, which is about 5 kilometers from the main road. Expect to pay around 200 Ngultrum for this short ride.
Motorcycle Taxi
If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can take a motorcycle taxi from Phobjikha to Tsigo. This is an exciting option, especially if the weather is pleasant. After arriving in Phobjikha, look for local motorcycle taxi drivers near the bus stop. The fare will be around 150 Ngultrum for the ride to Tsigo, and it offers a unique chance to enjoy the scenic views along the way.
