Car
From Sarpang, head north on the main highway (NH 8). Continue for approximately 75 kilometers until you reach the junction at Dochula. Turn left onto the road leading to Dochula. Follow the signs for Druk Wangyel Monastery. The monastery is located at the address FPRX+G3G, Dochula. There is no entry fee for the monastery.
Public Transportation
In Sarpang, take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Thimphu. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Dochula. The fare is typically around 100-200 Nu. Once you reach Dochula, you can either walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) to Druk Wangyel Monastery, following the road signs, or hire a local taxi for a small fee.
Walking
If you are already in Dochula, from the bus stop, walk west along the main road for about 1 kilometer until you see the signs for Druk Wangyel Monastery. The path is well marked and offers beautiful views along the way.
