The last part of the journey involves a steep ascent, so ensure your vehicle is capable of navigating the winding mountain roads.
Public Transportation

Take a bus from Tashiyangtse to Haa. The journey by bus will take around 3 to 4 hours. Upon arrival in Haa, you may need to hire a local taxi or a shared vehicle to reach Juneydrak Hermitage. Be sure to confirm with the taxi driver that they know the location as it can be tricky to find. Expect to pay around 500-700 Nu for the taxi ride from Haa to Juneydrak Hermitage.
