Great experience with 5000 stars Bhutanese Hospitality

I’ve had great experience travelling to Bhutan. Operations Specialist Sangay has been nothing but helpful throughout the booking, confirmation of itinerary, what to prepare and what to look forward to as soon as I put down my deposit. Balance was paid a few weeks before the trip and I’ve received all the information I need with ease. One week before my travel I was provided with all the information such as information of driver, & dedicated guide, visa, accommodations and tailored itinerary suited for my needs. My concerns with immigration (no stamp due to evisa - all resolved) was also addressed in less than a minute and Sangay was there to reassure me. I was then received by my guide, Tashi who has waited for me and approached me once I walked out of the arrival hall with Sangay my lovely driver waiting and assisting me every step of the way. I have to say both Tashi and Sangay and as well as operation specialist Sangay has been nothing but exceptional. They took care of me and and ensure I have sufficient food and water for some intensive hikes. When I informed them I love spicy food, they went above and beyond to ensure all my dietary needs are met. Constantly making sure I am enjoying my food and time in Bhutan. 5 stars is just not enough to share how my overall experience is like, more than 5000 stars. We warmly recommend Bhutan Acorn Tours & Travels. All our interactions, from the initial contact to the planning and realisation of our trip were very smooth, professional and enjoyable. We were able to have a custom-based designed programme meeting our needs, which in our case included a desire to immerse ourselves as a family of four into the culture of Bhutan by getting to know the culture, people, historical and religious sites, while spending every day some time in nature and doing some hikes. The stay over 2 days in a Homestay, the trek and arrival on the Tiger’s Nest from the top, and lunches at various people’s home are among the numerous highlights from our trip. Our guide, Tashi, was very knowledgeable and always keen and enthusiastic to share his knowledge and passion. And our driver, Kinley, was very safe and very considerate and adding a personal touch through his musical talents. We really appreciated the depth, authenticity and richness of the experience we were able to have within 12 days and are leaving with some beautiful memories and friends that will stay for ever.
