Foot
From the center of Trashigang, head towards the Trashigang Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, continue walking along the main road leading east. Follow the road for about 2 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left path, which will lead you towards the Khoma Village trail. You will notice signs indicating the direction to Khoma Village. After about 3 kilometers of walking, you will arrive at a small bridge. Cross the bridge and continue walking uphill for approximately 1 kilometer. As you approach Khoma Village, you will see beautiful terraced fields and the village houses. Keep following the path and you will enter Khoma Village, where you can explore the local culture and scenery.
Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a hiking route from Trashigang to Khoma Village. Start from the Trashigang Dzong and follow the trail that leads up the hill. This route is steep but offers stunning views of the valley. After about 4 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint where you can rest and take pictures. Continue on the trail for another 2 kilometers, following the signs to Khoma. The hike may take around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear sturdy footwear and carry enough water. You'll be rewarded with breathtaking landscapes and the serene beauty of Khoma Village.
