Getting There

Walking
From the center of Trashigang, head east towards the main road, following the signs for Radi. Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various local shops and small eateries. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Radi. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the right path heading towards Radi. Continue straight for another 4 kilometers, enjoying the scenic landscape around you. As you approach Radi, you will see Chador Lhakhang on your left side, nestled among the fields and mountains. The temple is easily recognizable by its traditional Bhutanese architecture.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Trashigang. Start by riding east towards the main road, then turn left, heading towards Radi. The ride is approximately 6.5 kilometers in total. After about 20 minutes of cycling, you will reach the fork in the road; take the right path towards Radi. You will enjoy a moderate uphill ride for around 4 kilometers before arriving at the temple. Chador Lhakhang will be visible on your left as you approach Radi.
