Walking
From the center of Trashigang, head towards the Trashigang Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, take the path leading downhill towards the river. Continue along the riverbank, enjoying the scenery. As you walk, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Naspe. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will reach the village of Naspe. From here, ask locals for directions to Ngala Lhakhang, as it is a well-known landmark. It should take about another 15 minutes to reach the temple, which is located slightly elevated from the village.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Trashigang. Start your journey towards Trashigang Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, follow the same route as pedestrians by cycling down towards the river. Be cautious of the terrain and traffic. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at Naspe. Park your bike in a safe area and walk the remaining 15 minutes to Ngala Lhakhang, asking for directions from locals if needed.
Hiking
For those looking for a more adventurous option, consider hiking. Begin your hike from Trashigang and make your way towards the Trashigang Dzong. From the Dzong, take the trail that leads down towards the river. This hike will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach the river, follow the path alongside it until you arrive at Naspe. The total hiking time will be around 2 hours, including the final stretch uphill to Ngala Lhakhang. Look for local guides or signs to help with navigation.
