Walking
From the center of Trashigang, head towards the Trashigang Dzong. As you reach the Dzong, take the main road leading east towards the Bhutan-India border. Continue walking along the road for approximately 3 kilometers. You will reach a small junction; take a left turn. Follow this road for another 2 kilometers until you reach the Tawang War Memorial. The site is well-marked and should be visible from the road.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Trashigang. Start from the town center and cycle towards the Trashigang Dzong. Once you reach the Dzong, continue on the main road heading east for about 3 kilometers. At the junction, take a left turn and continue cycling for another 2 kilometers. The Tawang War Memorial will be on your right, easily visible from the road.
Local Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop in Trashigang. Take a bus that heads towards the eastern parts of the region or directly to the border area. Inform the bus driver or conductor that you want to go to Tawang War Memorial. Once you reach the designated stop (approximately 5 kilometers from the center), disembark and walk a short distance along the road until you see the Memorial on your left.
