Car
If you are traveling by car from Trongsa District, head south on the Trongsa-Zhemgang Highway (also known as the Bhutan National Highway). The journey to Bermoo Botanical Garden is approximately 40 kilometers and will take about 1 hour. Follow the signs for Zhemgang. Once you reach Zhemgang town, continue on the same road for about 5 kilometers until you see the sign for Bermoo Botanical Garden. The entrance will be on your left. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as the road can be winding and steep in places.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Trongsa to Zhemgang. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Trongsa. The trip will take around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on road conditions. Upon arriving in Zhemgang, you can then hire a taxi or a local transport vehicle to take you to Bermoo Botanical Garden, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the town center. Taxi fares can vary, so confirm the price before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are already in Zhemgang and prefer to walk to the Bermoo Botanical Garden, head south on the main road from the town. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers and will take about 1 hour. Be cautious of traffic and ensure to stay on the side of the road where it is safe to walk. Follow the signs to the garden as you approach.
