Take the left fork towards Motithang. After another 1 kilometer, you will see signs for the Royal Takin Preserve. Follow the signs and keep walking for about 500 meters until you reach the entrance of the preserve.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Wangdue Phodrang town. Begin your ride heading north on the Thimphu-Wangdue Highway. Stay on this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers, then take the left fork towards Motithang. Continue for another kilometer, and you should see signs for the Royal Takin Preserve. Ride for an additional 500 meters until you reach the entrance.
