Start from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Head south on the main street towards the Wangdue Phodrang town center. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Phobjikha. Turn left and follow the signposts towards Phobjikha Valley. This road will take you through beautiful landscapes and villages. After about 8 km, you will reach the junction to Nubding. Turn right at the junction and continue for approximately 5 km. Look for signs indicating the Gangtey Nature Trail. The trailhead is located at F5FH+QQ6, Unnamed Road, Nubding.

Rent a bicycle in Wangdue Phodrang and start from the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. Cycle south along the main street until you reach the intersection with the road to Phobjikha.
