Car
If you are driving from Zhemgang town, head southeast on the main road towards Trongsa. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you see the junction towards Jangbi. Take a left turn at this junction and follow the road for about 10 kilometers. You will come across a sign for Bumthang Chhu River. Turn right and follow the signs for another 5 kilometers until you reach the river. There are no tolls on this route.

From Zhemgang town, take a local bus heading towards Trongsa. The bus will take you along the main road for about 30 kilometers. Ask the bus driver or conductor to drop you off at the Jangbi junction. From there, you will need to hire a local taxi or share a ride with others heading to the Bumthang Chhu River. The taxi ride will cost approximately 300-500 Ngultrum, depending on the number of passengers. After the junction, it's about a 15-minute drive to the river.
