If you are driving from Jakar town, start by heading southeast on the main road (Jakar-Debring Road). After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see a sign for Nyimalung Monastery. Turn right at the sign and follow the narrow road leading up the hill. The road will wind upward for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at Nyimalung Monastery, which is located at the coordinates (27.4963905, 90.7472034). Ensure you have enough fuel, as there are limited service stations in the area.

To reach Nyimalung Monastery using public transport, take a local bus from Jakar to the nearby village of Nyimalung. Buses run several times a day, and the fare is approximately 50 Nu (Bhutanese Ngultrum).
