If you are traveling by car from the main entrance of Amboró National Park, head towards Buena Vista. From the park entrance, take the road towards Villa Tunari (Route 4). After about 30 km, turn left onto the road towards Buena Vista. Continue straight for approximately 20 km until you reach the town of Buena Vista. Once in Buena Vista, La Florida is located just a few minutes' drive away. You can ask locals for directions to La Florida, as they will be familiar with the area. Ensure your vehicle is equipped for rough terrain, as some roads may be unpaved or in poor condition.

To reach La Florida using public transportation, start by taking a bus or shared taxi from Santa Cruz to Buena Vista. Buses leave from the terminal in Santa Cruz and take about 3 to 4 hours; they usually cost around 30 to 50 BOB (Bolivianos). Once you arrive in Buena Vista, you can either walk to La Florida, which is approximately 5 km away, or take a local taxi.
