Walking
If you're in the Calderon neighborhood, head towards Avenida Blanco Galindo. From there, follow the road signs to Paseo El Prado. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk depending on your exact starting point. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 6 de Agosto. Turn left on Avenida 6 de Agosto and continue walking until you see Paseo El Prado on your right. The park is well-marked and is a popular local spot.
Public Transport (Microbus)
You can take a microbus from Calderon to the city center. Look for micros that have 'Centro' or 'Plaza' displayed. Board the micro and pay the fare, which is usually around 2-3 Bolivianos. Once you reach the city center, get off at Plaza 14 de Septiembre. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Paseo El Prado. Head east from the plaza, following Avenida 6 de Agosto to reach the park.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Simply flag down a taxi or use a ride-hailing app if available. The fare from Calderon to Paseo El Prado should range between 15-25 Bolivianos, depending on traffic and exact location. It's a quick ride, typically taking about 10 minutes.
