Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest accessible town to Madidi National Park, which is Rurrenabaque. From Rurrenabaque, take the road heading west towards the Madidi National Park entrance. Follow the signs leading to the park and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach the entrance of Madidi National Park, you may need to pay an entry fee (approximately 50 BOB for foreign tourists). After entering the park, continue on the main road until you reach the area marked GFQF+9W. This is the location of Siphia. Make sure to have a reliable map or GPS device, as the roads can be unpaved and challenging.
Public Transportation
To reach Siphia using public transportation, start your journey in Rurrenabaque. Board a minibus or shared taxi heading towards the Madidi National Park entrance. The fare is usually around 20 BOB per person. The journey will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on road conditions. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee (approximately 50 BOB for foreign tourists). After entering, you can either hike or rent a local guide to take you to Siphia, which is located at GFQF+9W. Hiring a guide may cost around 150-300 BOB depending on the length of your trip.
