At the Plaza 10 de Noviembre, locate the minibus stop that has signs for 'Cerro Rico' or 'Cerro de Potosí.' Board a minibus that is headed towards the mountain (fare is usually around 2-3 bolivianos). The ride will take about 20 minutes, and you will get off when you see a sign for 'Cerro Rico' or notice the mountain becoming prominent. From there, follow the trail towards the base of the mountain.
