Car
From the center of Salar de Uyuni, head east on Avenida Potosí towards the junction with Avenida 6 de Octubre. Continue straight for about 20 kilometers until you reach Colchani. As you enter the village, look for signs directing you towards 'Nelson Atardecer'. Turn left onto J266+VX and follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will find Nelson Atardecer on your right side. Make sure to check the fuel level before leaving, as gas stations in this area are limited.
Public Transportation
From Salar de Uyuni, take a local bus heading towards Colchani. The buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Uyuni. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs around 5 BOB (Bolivian Bolivianos). Once you arrive in Colchani, you can either ask locals for directions to 'Nelson Atardecer' or walk towards J266+VX. It’s roughly a 30-minute walk from the bus stop to the location. Remember to check the return bus schedules, as they may vary.
