From the central area of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, head to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Brasil. Look for buses heading towards 'El Parque' or 'El Zoológico'. The bus fare is usually around 2 Bolivianos. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop closest to Av. Noel Kempff Mercado, which is approximately a 30-minute ride depending on traffic. Once you get off, walk towards Av. Noel Kempff Mercado, and you will see the entrance to Santa Cruz Municipal Zoo a short distance ahead.

Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in the city center. Head north on Avenida Brasil, then take a left onto Avenida Noel Kempff Mercado. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your speed. The zoo will be on your right as you approach.

Walking
For those staying nearby, walking is a pleasant option. From Parque El Arenal, head east on Avenida Brasil until you reach Avenida Noel Kempff Mercado. Turn left and continue walking straight for about 15 minutes. The entrance to the Santa Cruz Municipal Zoo will be on your right.

Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Simply tell the driver 'Zoo Municipal' or provide them with the address: Av. Noel Kempff Mercado. The ride will usually cost between 15 to 30 Bolivianos, depending on your starting location. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the zoo.
