If you are driving, start from the nearest major city, such as Sarajevo or Tuzla. From Sarajevo, take the M17 highway toward Mostar. The drive takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Mostar, follow signs to the Old Bridge (Stari Most). The museum is located on the eastern side of the bridge. Look for parking near the bridge, as street parking can be limited.

To reach Muzej Stari most by public transportation, take a bus from Sarajevo or Tuzla to Mostar. The bus ride from Sarajevo takes approximately 2 hours, and from Tuzla, it may take up to 3 hours. Buses frequently depart from the main bus stations in each city. Once you arrive at the Mostar bus station, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a taxi to the Old Bridge area. The museum is located on the eastern side of the Old Bridge (Stari Most).
