Car
If you are driving from Mostar, take the M17 highway south towards Čapljina. Continue on M17 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the traffic circle in Čapljina. At the circle, take the second exit onto the local road and follow the signs for Počitelj. After about 5 kilometers, you will arrive at the Počitelj Fortress. There is parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Mostar, you can take a bus to Čapljina. Buses leave regularly from the Mostar bus station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Čapljina bus station, you can take a local taxi or a bus heading towards Počitelj, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Počitelj Fortress.

If you are coming from Dubrovnik, Croatia, take the E65 highway towards the border crossing at Metković. After crossing the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina, continue on the M17 highway towards Čapljina. Once in Čapljina, follow the local directions to Počitelj as mentioned above. The total journey should take around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Public Transportation
From Sarajevo, take a bus to Mostar first. Buses from Sarajevo to Mostar depart frequently and the trip takes about 2 hours. Once in Mostar, transfer to a bus heading to Čapljina, as described previously. This entire journey can take around 3 hours depending on connection times.
