If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Mostar, which is approximately 120 km away from Sarajevo. Take the M17 highway towards Sarajevo. Once you reach the outskirts of Sarajevo, follow signs for the city center. As you approach the city, merge onto the highway leading into the center and follow the signs to 'Petrakijina.' You will need to find parking in the vicinity of the museum, as parking may be limited. There are several public parking lots nearby, and expect to pay around 1-2 BAM per hour for parking.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Mostar to Sarajevo, which typically costs around 15-20 BAM. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Mostar. Once you arrive at the Sarajevo bus station, you can either take a taxi or use local public transport. If you choose local transport, look for tram number 3 or buses heading towards the city center. Disembark at 'Trg Austrije' or 'Marijin Dvor' and walk to 'Petrakijina 7,' which should take about 10-15 minutes on foot.
