If you're driving from Mostar, start by heading southeast on the M17 road. After about 27 kilometers, you will reach the town of Čapljina. Once in Čapljina, follow the signs for Počitelj. The fortress is located approximately 5 kilometers from the town center. You will see signs directing you to the Počitelj Fortress. Park your car in the designated parking area near the entrance.

To reach Počitelj Fortress via public transport, take a bus from the Mostar bus station to Čapljina. Buses run frequently throughout the day and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Čapljina bus station, you can take a local taxi or a minibus to Počitelj, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Počitelj Fortress. The entrance will be a short walk from where you are dropped off.
