The Sarajevo Museum 1878-1918 is located in the heart of Sarajevo, close to the Latin Bridge. From Baščaršija, the old town square, walk east towards the Latin Bridge. Cross the bridge, and the museum will be on your right-hand side, marked with a sign. This is a short walk, approximately 5-10 minutes. There are no costs involved.

The closest tram stop to the Sarajevo Museum 1878-1918 is Latinska ćuprija. Trams are a frequent and convenient way to get around Sarajevo. From the main train station, take tram number 3 towards Baščaršija. Get off at the Latinska ćuprija stop. The museum is a short walk from the tram stop, just across the Latin Bridge. A single tram ticket costs 1.80 KM (approximately €0.90) if purchased from the driver, or 1.60 KM (€0.80) if purchased at a kiosk.

Taxis are readily available throughout Sarajevo. You can hail a taxi on the street or call one of the local taxi companies. Ask the driver to take you to the Latin Bridge (Latinska ćuprija); the museum is located right next to it. A short taxi ride from the city center should cost approximately 7 KM to 10 KM (€3.50 - €5). Be sure the driver starts the taximeter at the beginning of the ride.
