If you are starting from Baščaršija, the historic heart of Sarajevo, walk along Ferhadija Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Obala Isa-bega Ishakovića Street. Turn left onto Obala Isa-bega Ishakovića Street. The Emperor's Mosque will be on your right after approximately 10 minutes of walking.

From the city center, you can take the tram line 3 towards 'Ilidža.' Get off at the 'Zavod za izgradnju' stop. From there, head east on Obala Isa-bega Ishakovića Street for about 5 minutes. The Emperor's Mosque will be on your right.

Take bus number 31 from the 'Trg Austrije' bus stop in the city center. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Baščaršija' stop. Walk straight down to Ferhadija Street, then turn left. Walk until you reach the intersection with Obala Isa-bega Ishakovića Street, turn left again, and the mosque will be on your right after a short walk.

If you are near Vrelo Bosne, you can walk back to the nearest tram stop and take tram line 3 towards the city center. Once you're in the city center, refer to the previous walking directions from Baščaršija.
