Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Sarajevo City Center (Trg Austrije), head east towards Ferhadija Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Zelenih Beretki Street. Turn right onto Zelenih Beretki and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the old town area of Baščaršija. As you enter Baščaršija, keep walking straight, and you will soon see Sebilj, a large wooden fountain, on your left.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    From the main tram station at Wilson's Promenade, take tram number 3 towards Baščaršija. The ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off the tram at the Baščaršija stop. Once you disembark, walk straight ahead into the Baščaršija area for about 2 minutes, and you will find Sebilj on your right, located at the center of the square.

  • Walking from the Latin Bridge

    From the historic Latin Bridge, which is only a 10-minute walk away, head southeast along the river until you reach the Baščaršija area. As you enter Baščaršija, continue walking straight, and you will find Sebilj directly in front of you, surrounded by shops and cafes.
