If you are driving from the city of Ljubuški, head southeast on M6.1 for about 15 kilometers. This road will lead you directly towards the border with Croatia. As you approach the border, continue to follow signs for Gradska plaža which will guide you onto D8. After crossing the border into Croatia, continue on D8 for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Gradska plaža as you near the coast. Look for parking areas nearby, which may incur a fee of approximately 10-20 HRK depending on the duration of your stay.

To reach Gradska plaža via public transport, start by taking a bus from Ljubuški to the town of Metković. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. From Metković, transfer to another bus heading towards the coastal town of Opuzen. The ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Opuzen, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Gradska plaža, which is roughly 4 kilometers away. Expect to pay around 20 HRK for the taxi ride.
