Getting There

  • Car

    From Gaborone, head northwest on A1 towards Lobatse. Continue on A2 towards Kang. In Kang, take the B3 towards Tsabong. Once in Tsabong, continue on the B3 towards Hukuntsi. From Hukuntsi, take the 4x4 route towards Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Follow signs to the park entrance.

    Take a bus from Gaborone to Kang. From Kang, take another bus to Tsabong. In Tsabong, hire a local guide with a 4x4 vehicle to take you to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Alternatively, you can take a bus or shared taxi from Tsabong to Hukuntsi, and then arrange for a 4x4 transfer to the park entrance.
