From the main bus station in Kweneng District, take a bus or shared taxi towards Mmopane. The fare is around 20 BWP. The drop-off point is about 3 km from Mmopane Hill, requiring a walk or hiring a local guide to the base of the hill.
Car
From the center of Kweneng District, head towards the A12 road. Follow the A12 northbound until you see the sign for Mmopane Hill. Exit onto the gravel road leading to the hill and continue for approximately 5 km to reach the base. A vehicle with good clearance is recommended due to the rough road conditions.

A taxi from Gaborone to Mmopane is approximately 12.3 km and takes about 18 minutes. The estimated cost is between $30 and $40.
