Qorokwe Camp, opened in November 2017, is a luxurious and contemporary camp located in a private wildlife-rich area in the southeastern Okavango Delta, bordering Botswana's Moremi Game Reserve. The camp translates to 'The place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water', reflecting the area's high density of game. The 26,180-hectare Qorokwe Concession features diverse Delta habitats, from acacia woodlands to pristine floodplains, ensuring a wealth of wildlife sightings.The camp consists of nine elegant tented suites and a main area that overlooks a lagoon. The suites are equipped with private viewing decks, indoor lounges, mosquito screens, and en suite bathrooms. One family suite includes two bedrooms, a fireplace, a dining area, and a private plunge pool. The main area includes a dining space, lounge, library, and bar, all built on raised wooden platforms connected by walkways. Guests can relax in hanging beds or sun loungers, cool off in the swimming pool, and gather by the fire pit in the evenings.Qorokwe Camp offers a range of activities, including game drives, guided walks, and mokoro excursions. The area is known for its large predators, such as lions, leopards, and wild dogs, as well as giraffes, buffalo, and elephants.
