From the center of Chapada Diamantina, take the BA-142 road towards Ibicoara. After approximately 70 kilometers, you will reach the town of Ibicoara. Once in Ibicoara, follow the signs to the Waterfall Buracão. The last portion of the road is unpaved and may require a suitable vehicle. Expect to pay an entrance fee of 15 reais per person at the waterfall site.

To reach Waterfall Buracão via public transportation, take a bus from the main bus terminal in Chapada Diamantina to Ibicoara. The bus ride will take around 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Ibicoara, you can hire a local taxi or a mototaxi to take you to Waterfall Buracão. Be sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride. Also, remember to bring 15 reais for the entrance fee to the waterfall.
