Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the city center of Florianópolis, head to the main bus terminal (Terminal Rodoviário Rita Maria). Take bus number 360 (Bombinhas) which is marked with 'Bombinhas' on the front. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at the Bombinhas terminal, you will need to take a taxi or a local bus to Praia de Morrinhos. If taking a taxi, show the driver the address: 'Av. Girassol, s/nº - Morrinhos, Bombinhas'. If taking a local bus, look for the options that go towards Morrinhos Beach or ask the driver if they go to Praia de Morrinhos.

• Shared Van

  At the main bus terminal in Florianópolis, you can also find shared vans heading to Bombinhas. These vans usually leave more frequently than the buses and may take around 1 hour to reach Bombinhas. Once you arrive, you can either take a taxi to Praia de Morrinhos or use a local bus. Again, make sure to provide the address to the driver: 'Av. Girassol, s/nº - Morrinhos, Bombinhas'.

• Bicycle Rental

  For more adventurous travelers, you can rent a bicycle in Florianópolis and cycle towards Bombinhas. Take the route towards the north via SC-401, then follow the signs to Bombinhas. The distance is roughly 70 km, so be prepared for a long ride. Once in Bombinhas, you can use local streets to reach Praia de Morrinhos, following the signs or using a map app on your phone for navigation.

• Walking (after arriving in Bombinhas)

  If you arrive in Bombinhas by bus or van, you can also opt to walk to Praia de Morrinhos if you are nearby. From the Bombinhas bus terminal, walk towards the beach, and then continue following the road (Av. Vereador Manoel José dos Santos) until you reach the Av. Girassol. Follow this road until you arrive at Praia de Morrinhos. It’s a pleasant walk, taking around 30-40 minutes.
