Walking
Praça Getúlio Vargas is located in the city center, close to Avenida Brasil and Praça da Paz. From Praça da Paz, walk east along Avenida Juscelino Kubitschek, then turn right onto R. Barão do Rio Branco. The plaza will be on your left. This is a short walk of approximately 500m and should take less than 10 minutes.
Public Transport
The local bus system, Foztrans, serves all regions of the city. Several bus lines stop near Praça Getúlio Vargas. From the Terminal de Transporte Urbano (TTU), take any bus that goes to the city center. Get off at a bus stop near Avenida Brasil or Rua Almirante Barroso. The current single fare is R$5.00. From there, it is a short walk to the plaza.

Taxis and ride-sharing services are readily available in Foz do Iguaçu. A taxi from the Foz do Iguaçu airport to the city center costs around R$80.
