Getting there

Walking

From Avenida Atlântica, walk south towards Parque Unipraias. The entrance is located at the southern end of Barra Sul, near the pier. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes from the city center. Look for signs indicating the park entrance. Once at the entrance, follow the path to the ticket counters.

Public Transport

Take bus lines 105/1 or 52-1 towards Barra Sul. Get off at a stop near Avenida Atlântica, close to the southern end. From there, walk towards the ocean and follow signs to Parque Unipraias. Bus fare is approximately R$4.50. The park is easily accessible from various points in Balneário Camboriú.

Taxi/Ride-Share

Hail a taxi or use a ride-sharing app from anywhere in Balneário Camboriú to Parque Unipraias. The ride to the park entrance at Barra Sul typically costs between R$15 and R$25, depending on the distance and traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off at the main entrance on Avenida Atlântica.

Cable Car

To reach Parque Unipraias via cable car, start at the Laranjeiras Beach station. Purchase a round-trip ticket for approximately R$70 (prices may vary). The cable car will take you to the Mata Atlântica station, where you can explore the park's attractions and then continue to the Barra Sul station, the main entrance of Parque Unipraias.

Parque Unipraias is a premier tourist destination in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, offering a diverse range of experiences. Opened on August 26, 1999, the park is known for its innovative cable car system, which links Barra Sul to Laranjeiras Beach, making it the only park in the world to connect two beaches via aerial cable cars.The park features three stations: Barra Sul, Mata Atlântica, and Laranjeiras. The cable car ride provides panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding mountains. At the Mata Atlântica station, visitors can explore the Environmental Park, walk along trails, and enjoy scenic viewpoints. Thrill-seekers can experience the Youhooo!, a mountain sled that runs through the Atlantic rainforest at speeds up to 60km/hour, and the ZipRider, a 750m-high zipline.Laranjeiras Beach offers a relaxing environment with clear waters perfect for swimming, as well as restaurants and kiosks. The park also includes attractions like the Fantástica Floresta, with a suspended train, the Chocolate House, and the Laranjeiras viewpoint. With a blend of natural beauty and exciting activities, Parque Unipraias offers an unforgettable experience for tourists of all ages.The park's history began in the 1950s when entrepreneur Normando Tedesco, captivated by the beauty of Balneário Camboriú, acquired much of the area. Inspired by cable car systems in the United States and Europe, Tedesco envisioned a similar attraction in Brazil. His sons, Júlio and Marcos Tedesco, partnered with Grupo Fidúcia to realize this dream, leading to the creation of BONTUR S/A and the opening of Parque Unipraias.
