Metro
Begin your journey by heading to the nearest metro station. If you're in the Copacabana or Ipanema area, take the metro at 'Cardeal Arcoverde' or 'General Osório' stations. Purchase a ticket to 'Cinelândia' station, which is on Line 1 (the orange line). The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Cinelândia', exit the station and follow the signs to Praça Floriano. From there, you can easily catch a bus or take a taxi to the marina where boats to Ilha Fiscal depart.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, find a bus stop near your location that services routes towards 'Centro'. Look for buses with signs that include 'Centro' or 'Cinelândia'. The bus ride may take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. You will want to get off at the 'Cinelândia' stop. From there, walk a short distance to Praça Floriano to catch a taxi or a boat to Ilha Fiscal.
Taxi
If you are near a main street, you can easily hail a taxi to take you directly to the marina where boats to Ilha Fiscal depart. Provide the driver with the destination 'Praça Floriano, Centro'. The ride should take about 10-20 minutes depending on your starting location and traffic. Once you arrive at Praça Floriano, look for the boat ticket booth to purchase your tickets to Ilha Fiscal.
Walking
If you are already in the Centro area, you can walk to Praça Floriano. From landmarks like the Municipal Theater or the National Library, head towards the Praça Floriano square.
