If you are starting your journey from Copacabana, take the Metro Line 1 (the yellow line) towards the direction of Uruguai. Get off at the Botafogo station. From there, exit the station and head towards Rua da Passagem.

After exiting Botafogo station, walk along Rua da Passagem until you reach Praia de Botafogo. Continue along the beachfront promenade until you reach the end of the beach, where you will see the entrance to Pista Cláudio Coutinho. The walking distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers and takes about 20 minutes.

Alternatively, from Copacabana, you can take the bus number 511 or 512 from Rua Barata Ribeiro. Request to get off at the Urca stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the entrance of Pista Cláudio Coutinho, which is about a 10-minute walk.
