From the Copacabana Beach, head up Avenida Atlântica towards Posto 6. Continue walking until you reach Rua Francisco Sa. Turn left on Rua Francisco Sa and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Rua Domingos Ferreira. Turn right on Rua Domingos Ferreira and proceed until you can see the entrance to the Summit Cannons on your left. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take about 20 minutes.

Locate the nearest bus stop along Avenida Atlântica. Take the bus number 583 (which goes towards Urca). You'll get off at the stop on Avenida Princesa Isabel, near the entrance to the Parque Nacional da Tijuca. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the Summit Cannons. Keep in mind that the bus fare is around R$4.50.
