Getting There

  • Metro

    From Lapa, walk to the nearest metro station, which is 'Cinelândia' on the Line 1 (the yellow line). Board a train heading towards 'Jardim Oceânico'. Get off at 'Praça Onze' station. This journey typically takes about 5 minutes.

  • Walking

    After exiting 'Praça Onze' metro station, walk towards the street 'R. da Alfândega'. Turn right onto 'R. da Alfândega' and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach 'Praça Muhammad Ali'. AquaRio is located at the end of the square on 'Via Binário do Porto'. This walk should take approximately 10 minutes.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, after reaching 'Praça Onze' station, you can take a bus. Look for bus lines 111 or 126 at the bus stop outside the metro station. Ensure to confirm with the driver that the bus goes towards 'Gamboa'. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Get off at the stop near 'Praça Muhammad Ali'.
