Getting There

• Walking from Lapa

  If you are already in the Lapa neighborhood, start by heading towards Avenida Mem de Sá. Look for the famous Arcos da Lapa (the Lapa Arches), a well-known landmark in the area. Once you reach Avenida Mem de Sá, turn left and walk along the avenue for about 5 minutes. Leviano Bar is located at number 47 on this avenue, on your right-hand side. It's a vibrant spot, so you should easily recognize it by the lively atmosphere and possibly some music in the background.

• Public Transport - Bus

  If you are coming from a different area in Rio de Janeiro, you can take a bus that stops near Lapa. Look for buses heading towards 'Lapa' or 'Centro'. You can board these buses at various points throughout the city. The fare is approximately R$ 4.50. Once you arrive at the Lapa bus terminal, head towards Avenida Mem de Sá, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Follow the directions mentioned above to reach Leviano Bar.

• Metro

  You can also take the Metro to reach Lapa. The closest metro station is 'Cinelândia' on Line 1 (the orange line). Once you exit the station, head towards Rua da Assembleia and then to Rua do Teatro, which will lead you to Rua Mem de Sá. The walk will take about 15 minutes. Follow Avenida Mem de Sá, and Leviano Bar will be at number 47 on your right. A single metro ticket costs R$ 5.00.
