Public Transport
From the city center, take Metro Line 2 (Green Line) or Line 4 (Yellow Line) to Consolação station. Transfer to a bus heading towards Jardim das Bandeiras. Look for buses with 'Jardim das Bandeiras' as the destination and get off at the stop closest to Escadão. From there, it's approximately a 5-minute walk to Escadaria do Patapio, following signs on Escadão street. A single bus or metro fare costs R$5.00-5.20.
Walking
If you are near Ibirapuera Park, start at the park's entrance on Av. Pedro Álvares Cabral. Walk northeast along the park's perimeter until you reach Av. Brasil. Cross the avenue and continue walking along R. Dr. José de Andrade Figueira. This will lead you directly to Escadão where Escadaria do Patapio is located, taking about 30 minutes on foot.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From Pinheiros, a taxi or ride-sharing service (such as Uber or 99) to Escadaria do Patapio typically costs between R$16 and R$30, depending on traffic and time of day. The journey usually takes around 10 minutes. Be aware that taxi fares have a base fee of R$5.6, plus R$4 per kilometer.
