Parque das Trilhas: Nature and Adventure in Guaramiranga

Nestled in the lush Zona Rural of Guaramiranga, Parque das Trilhas (Trails Park) is an ecological park offering visitors a chance to explore the region's natural beauty and enjoy thrilling outdoor activities. The park is situated on the Guaramiranga Farm, less than 1 km from the Rachel de Queiroz Theater, within a 114-hectare area of the Atlantic Forest. The park features six guided trails that wind through the forest, ranging from 1 km to 3 km in length, catering to different fitness levels and interests. Along the trails, visitors can observe native flora and fauna, with opportunities for birdwatching, as over 158 bird species have been identified within the park. In addition to hiking, Parque das Trilhas offers a range of adventure activities, including zip-lining, a three-rope bridge, rappelling, and kayaking. These activities are supervised by trained instructors to ensure the safety of all participants. The park also promotes sustainable ecotourism practices, raising awareness about environmental preservation. Visitors can take a refreshing dip in the natural pool after their hike. The park provides facilities such as a snack bar, restrooms, and rest areas, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all. Parque das Trilhas is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
