From Kiulap, start at the Kiulap Plaza and head north on Jalan Kiulap. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Jalan Istana Darussalam. Turn right onto Jalan Istana Darussalam. Continue walking for another 200 meters, and you will see Istana Darussalam on your left. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
