From Kiulap, start at the Kiulap Plaza and head north on Jalan Kiulap. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Jalan Istana Darussalam. Turn right onto Jalan Istana Darussalam. Continue walking for another 200 meters, and you will see Istana Darussalam on your left. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch Bus No. 1 at the nearest bus stop in Kiulap. Board the bus heading towards the city center and inform the driver you want to get off at the Istana Darussalam stop. The bus will take you directly to the vicinity of the Istana. Make sure to have some small change ready as the fare is usually around BND 1.00. The journey might take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Another way to reach Istana Darussalam is by renting a bicycle. You can find rental shops in Kiulap. Rent a bicycle and head north on Jalan Kiulap.
