    If you are starting from the Royal Regalia Museum, exit the museum and head southeast toward Jalan Sultan. Walk along Jalan Sultan for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the junction with Jalan Istana Darussalam. Turn left onto Jalan Istana Darussalam and continue walking for about 500 meters until you see Istana Darussalam on your right. The iconic stilt house architecture will be visible from the road.

    Starting from the Bandar Seri Begawan Central Market, head south on Jalan McArthur. Walk until you reach the roundabout and take the first exit onto Jalan Sultan. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer. You will then reach the junction with Jalan Istana Darussalam. Turn right onto Jalan Istana Darussalam. Walk for about 500 meters, and Istana Darussalam will be on your right.

    If you are near the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, exit the mosque and head east along Jalan Mosque. Continue walking straight for about 800 meters until you reach the junction with Jalan Istana Darussalam. Turn right onto Jalan Istana Darussalam and walk for another 300 meters.
