Getting There

  • Taxi

    From Tutong town, a taxi is a convenient way to reach Pangkalan Waris. Taxis are metered in Brunei, with a base price of BND3.50 for the first minute or kilometer. Expect to pay around BND 24 for a 5km ride. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, ride-hailing apps are also available.

  • Driving

    If driving from Bandar Seri Begawan, take the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Highway to Tutong. Once in Tutong, follow signs for Kampong Penapar. Turn onto Jalan Kecil Sekolah Penapar; Pangkalan Waris will be on your left. Parking is available near the fishing camp. Note that driving is considered the most practical way to explore Brunei.
