Originally built as a monument in 1965 and opened in 1971 as the Churchill Memorial Building, it was later transformed into a museum in 1992 to commemorate Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah's Silver Jubilee.The museum offers visitors a captivating glimpse into the life and reign of the current Sultan, showcasing an impressive collection of royal regalia, including the Sultan's coronation chariot, ceremonial armor, and a replica of his throne. The exhibits also feature royal jewelry, such as diamond-encrusted crowns and tiaras, and gifts presented to the Sultan by foreign dignitaries, highlighting Brunei's global connections.Beyond the displays of royal treasures, the museum provides insights into Brunei's history, culture, and traditions.
