Car
From Lovech, take Route 301 towards Krushuna. Continue through Alexandrovo and turn right towards Karpachevo. In Karpachevo, follow the signs for Stalbitsata Cave. The road to Karpachevo is generally in good condition. However, the final 3 km to the cave is a gravel road that may be difficult for standard cars, especially after rain. Parking is available near the cave entrance. Be aware that the road may have mud puddles and ruts. No tolls are expected. Parking is free.
Walking
From the village of Karpachevo, the cave is approximately 3 km to the west. Follow the gravel road leading towards the cave. The walk takes around 40 minutes. Signposts are scarce, so using a map or GPS is recommended. The road has a slight uphill slope at the beginning but is mostly flat. Be prepared for uneven terrain. There are no costs involved in walking to the cave.
