From the center of Bujumbura, start at Place de l'Independence. Head southeast on Avenue de la Liberté towards Avenue de l'Enseignement. After about 500 meters, turn right onto Avenue du Large. Continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer, passing by various shops and local eateries. You will eventually reach the beach area. Look for signs directing you towards Zion Beach, which is located at J952+M39. The walk should take around 20-30 minutes.
